GearBubble – Product Overview

Is GearBubble a scam? What the heck is GearBubble? Continue to read my review of a potential income resource and see if you would like to give it a try.

I like exploring different method as well as different companies, that could possibly generate money for individuals. Let me tell you there is no shortage of companies and methods. New methods are unveiled every day. That being said, I did a bunch of reviews on multiple companies similar to GearBubble, you can read about them here,

This is an amazingly easy to use crowdfunding platform that allows you to design and sell a plethora of different products. When you launch a campaign, you have a limited campaign length. A maximum of 7 days. If you need the campaign to be longer, you can turn on the auto-relaunch in your advanced settings.

gearbubble how it works 1

GearBubble is a site where you can design many different products and then sell the products with zero up-front cost. Once the product sells, GearBubble will deliver it, and you keep the profits. Yeah!

Check out the list of available products below.

  • Coffee Mugs
  • Shirts
  • Necklaces
  • Bracelets
  • Phone Cases
  • Hats
  • Hoodies
  • Beanies
  • Pillow Cases? okay…
  • Posters

While you are picking and creating your campaigns, like different colors sizes and such, it shows the Base Cost along with how much in profit from sale right next to it. Easy to understand. You can upload your own design, it needs to be a PNG file, btw. Also another helpful hint on your graphics files the background should be transparent.

The image you use can be scaled up or down to fit the size of what you want and/or rotate with Gearbubble to your liking.

Setting The Price

You have the power to determine the amount of money that the item sells for by adjusting the Base Cost and then, in turn, also determining your profit per sale. Which is shown just to the right of the Base Cost box.

Where To Advertise

Probably the best place to advertise is Facebook. You can set up your own product page or fan page, separate from your normal profile. Then using the Facebook ad manager or Facebook Boost to create an ad for your new campaign.

The Good & The Bad

The Good:

  • GearBubble has an affiliate program that pays a percentage of every sale if you want to promote their site. Although they don’t publicize this fact as they are still working on all the metrics and such.
  • Ships internationally.
  • Have over 10 videos that help you start to get going using GearBubble. I like to learn from video and is a nice feature.
  • The only money you stand to lose is in advertising your campaign. So advertising and marketing is uber important.
  • Analytics to track and monitor the activity of your product.
  • GearBubble has many products to design for, compared to the other competition.
  • An easy way for beginners to get up and running.
  • The option to build your own store. This is free a gives you the ease of having an online site to sell merchandise.
  • Good quality of products available.
  • Some items ship in 1-2 days! Fast shipping!!!
  • No print minimum. After 1 product sell you get paid, unlike other platforms.
  • Customer service is handled by Gear Bubble Current problems with email support!!! Chat Is Working.
  • Good margins.
  • Short Campaigns.
  • Drop shipping.
  • Decent upsells.
  • Some sellers already sold hundreds of thousands in merchandise.
  • Great looking and useful Store Fronts.

The Bad:

  • 12/17/2016 Due to multiple comments about the lack of support, I tried to contact GearBubble as well, and I also receive ZERO SUPPORT! This is very troublesome because when I first reviewed them, their support was working fine. I would stay away until support is back up and available again as if you encounter a problem, there is no method to resolve the issue. Chat is currently responding to questions! No support through email! A telephone number is spotty with support.
  • Not a lot of options to choose from what manufacturer of T-shirts. But t-shirt quality is decent.
  • Doesn’t allow you the option of using different brands of T-shirts.
  • Even with the easy setup and options, creating the first campaign can be a very daunting and uneasy feeling of committing to.

GearBubble Tips

Read my post, Tips On Designing T-Shirts And Selling Them Online for tips and other useful information.

Creative Market has cheap fonts, textures, brushes and more, which usually comes bundled for extremely cheap prices. If I need something, this is my first stop.

Definitely a must. Take a look.

Mugs get done faster than any other product due to sublimation printing. Way faster than t-shirts.

Come up with three ideas with 3 campaigns. Otherwise, you won’t be able to have your own store.

Mugs you can use an unlimited number of colors as well as Mobile Covers.

You can only upload PNG files.

If your campaign hasn’t sold anything in a couple of days, go back and work on another design.

All of your graphics files should have a transparent background.

Don’t get greedy adjusting your Base Cost. Go to a well know place that sells the items that you plan on selling and compare prices. Amazon is a good place to check.

Fill in the Description, actively catering to your buyer. Enter some sale slogan, example, get this amazing coffee mug to show the person you love just how much you do love them.

If you are not a good graphic artist but have a killer idea, you can go over to Fiverr and for around $5.00 to $10.00, you can have someone design want you to want to be done graphically.

GearBubble Alternatives

There are quite a few similar companies to GearBubble.

Who is GearBubble for?

Anyone can come up with an excellent idea for a t-shirt or coffee mug or whatever. That is the great thing about GearBubble. You don’t have to be a graphic artist either, and you can pay a small amount to have someone create that for you, as long as you have an idea.

GearBubble Tools & Training

To get started it is highly recommended to begin watching their training videos. They have 10 that covers most of what you need to know in order to begin designing and selling products.

GearBubble Support

Due to recent complaints and my own inquiries, the support at Gearbubble seems severely broke. As I have gotten no response. Please be aware of this!!!! GearBubble has multiple ways of support, probably the easiest is the Live Chat. Very helpful and Fastest way of getting help is for sure Live Chat.

GearBubble Price

GearBubble is free to sell from but…advertising and marketing is not, this is something separate.

My Final Opinion of GearBubble

Is GearBubble a scam? In my review of Gearbubble, I have found no signs that Gear Bubble is a scam. They are a great way to make money for creative people. Also being a graphic artist would greatly help in the design process, but just as important is coming up with something, either creatively or catchy. The site is free to run campaigns, but the advertising is not. But you can run a Facebook ad for as low as $5.00 a day. It well worth signing up and I encourage you to start selling products.

  1. Not looking to invest. Ordered mugs after the election. Price quoted was $24,90. They charged my bank account $24.90 and another $37.85. I requested a refund and explanation and got nothing. On Facebook another person said the same thing and only go a “submit all info to” Looks like a scam to me…..

    • Sorry to hear about the overcharge. Has this issue been settled yet. Sounds like a glitch to me. Let me know if you ever get your refund back.

      • I ordered a White Inauguration MUG and they sent me some plain BLACK mug. I then was able to chat with a JJ on-line and was told I would be sent the white mug that I ordered. NOW I can’t get anyone to respond to my messages nor have I received my replacement — LOOKS LIKE A TYPICAL SCAM TO ME!! TERRIBLE THING TO DO ESPECIALLY At THIS CHRISTMAS time of the year!!

      • I ordered a mug December 5th all to receive nothing no email reply and nothing in the mail and if my account is overcharged …your company will be sued!!

        • Sorry to hear of your experience, as I am hearing a lot, and I mean a lot of complaints concerning Gearbubble as of late. I would try the chat feature on their site as I personally got a hold of someone last week. Thanks for sharing your experience, even though it is a negative one.

          • I ordered a necklace on December 3 for Christmas and never came can’t get anyone to answer my calls or emails now it seems like my Christmas is going to be messed up I can’t believe how bad this company is is there anything you can do for me

          • Sorry to hear it. I have tried contacting Gearbubble myself in the past, I will try again on your behalf. Lets see if I can get ahold of them…I’ll provide them with your email you provided, if you used a different one let me know.

          • I contacted Gearbubble through their chat session, and I was immediately help. Here is the information supplied.
   – they are currently in transit
   — order summary page
please be advised all our items are made to order and laser engraved turn around is 12 to 15 business days.
I would suggest you contact them through the chat session and see if they can help you more.

        • I ordered one on Nov. 30th. Same lack of response. Took my money, though. Reporting them as a scam on Facebook and going through Paypal to get my money back!

          • Nola, You might have better luck with going through PayPal, I’ve had good success in the past with them. Hope it turns out for you and thanks for letting other people about your bad experience.

    • yes its scam. if u complain in face book they bloke you no one can see. I also ordered a mug charged me $43 and never received it and no reply to my emails. how can we stop this website. plz Helotes.

      • Fariba, Thanks for sharing your experience. You just made a step to help stop the kind of service Gearbubble gives people, by communicating about it online. I know lots of people have found out about Gearbubble lack of service from this webpage alone. If they don’t deliver as a business, it should be public knowledge. People will go elsewhere eventually.

    • Hey Chris, Confirm email is usually asked for after signing up for any website, they send you a email (that you provided when signing up). They send you an email because they want to make sure and verify that you want to receive information from them and that you are an actual human. So, check whatever email you gave them to find the specific email Gearbublle sent you. Then within that email they provide a link where you need to click or copy and paste that link in a web browser to confirm your membership. It’s rather simple, but tedious, YES!! Hope this helps you, if not let me know I’ll try to help out.

  2. I am very disillusioned with Gearbubble, as I have been emailing them for support for the last several days on four different occasions and I have not received an answer. Their customer service sucks, so how can I trust him with my customers? I Will probably have to go with another print on demand company, even after I did all the work of setting all my product up with them. So I am sorry they do not have my vote so far. How can you even stay in business without telephone customer support?

    • Hey Andrea, I can understand your frustration with all the work you put in and to not be answered by now is pretty ridiculous.
On their contact page I see they recommend their FAQ page, then email them and lastly to visit their support desk to open a ticket with them. Have you tried opening a ticket with them. You can see it here On this page they even say email is the best way to contact them. Then they don’t respond this is unacceptable. I would open a ticket and see if that works. If this continues to happen I will post in my article about the poor lack of communication and support.
I have other articles on other print on demand business.
Teechip – Is Teechip A Scam? They have a actual telephone number.
ViralStyle – Is Viral Style A Scam? Lots of forms of support but also lots of complaints read comment to see them.
Teespring – What Is Teespring About? Quick response with chat!

      Hope this helps.

  3. Dan your full of shit this company is nothing but a ripoff they have no live chat I email them 3 damn times and still can’t get them to message me back I also call the them and nothing so don’t tell me they are great

    • Hey Jim, When I wrote this review of Gearbubble, I tested their support and they got back to me fast and chat worked at the time. Now, if in the meantime the level of support has gone down, it doesn’t mean I am full of shit. Things change over time, this is beyond my control, as I only wrote what I knew, I cannot foreseeing the future.
I have sent a support ticket and a email, if I do not receive response I will downgrade my rating and also note that in Negatives section along with adding to the support section.
Please keep in mind that various reasons could be happening at GearBubble for this lack of support and refrain from insulting my integrity.
Thanks for alerting me of this problem, I also got another complaint yesterday for the same reason.
      Take care.

  4. I am also having a problem getting a response. My fault but I accidendtly had the wrong shipping address. I have called and left messages, I have emailed, I got a response that didn’t even seem to relate to what I was talking about. After a day of waiting, I sent another email and told thier their customer service sucked. I Will never use them again, and would higher recommend to everyone to stay away from them. A simple email back or phone call from them doesn’t seem to much to ask. Oh and I have searched and searched. The “live chat” is either bullshit or very well hidden.

    • It sounds like you got a response from an autoresponder, that’s more than I get when I try to contact them. I am unable to find live chat as well, even thought I wrote it. I have contacted them over a week ago and receive no support. I am going to be changing my review of the company. Thanks for letting me know of your problems, as I have been receiving multiple complaints about Gearbubble.

      • There phone number is 888-552-5753. Monday-Friday, 8 am to 5 pm PST. I asked within chat and the lady just gave me the number, hope this helps. Thanks for pointing out where chat is located as it is not the easiest thing to find.

  5. I opened an account about two and a half weeks ago… After 3 days they suspended my account and have not will not return my emails or respond in any way. Today 12-19-16 I was finally able to get thru to the Live chat. But she said there was nothing she could do about it, would not respond to any questions and when I asked for a supervisor or a phone number to call she just ended the chat. My items are still selling and they owe me over $500 at this point but I cannot access my account. I don’t even know why they suspended my account. Although they did close 1 of my campaigns over content. But that’s 1 of over 40 I have going. I would advise anyone looking into them to stay away.

    • Hey Larry, I would maybe try again to contact via chat and see if they will address the situation again. Or try the phone number 888-552-5753. I was giving the response that they are really busy with support right now is the reason for the lack or responding back to people.

          • Dan it has been over 6 WEEKS now and still have not heard from anyone at Gearbubble… No reason for suspending my account or anything.. no replies from the 20 emails I have sent them. Will never answer their phone. They keep advertising my campaigns on there own and they keep selling yet I cannot access my account. They have never paid me 1 cent on this account… I figure they owe me over $600 now with a total of 53 sales. I don’t know what else to do??? Every time I talk to them on their Live Chat they say they will flag it and have them respond. But “Legal” never has. My next action will be with the BBB I hope they can help!!! Any advice?

          • I would keep trying, but you might have to weigh the amount of money they owe you, with the time you spend trying to get it back. If it’s worth it to you, by all means don’t give up. Horrible, their lack of response on dealing with you. I wouldn’t give up on the chat since this seems to be the only way to actually talk to someone there. I would ask chat daily or multiple times a day, for help until they do something. Thee BBB is a good start too, whatever happens you should contact them and file a complaint. Let who ever is in chat that you are talking to the BBB and see what happens. Hope this help. Sorry I don’t have more. Let me know how it turns out.

        • Cancelling your account, continuing to sell your items, refusing to pay you as agreed, I’d say file a complaint with the FBI Cyber Crimes Unit.

Sounds like a case of fraud, theft and embezzlement (It is your design and stuff they keep selling).

      • You cant get through using the phone number. i’m so pissed they took the money out of my account but never received my coffee cup, no one will call me back, it took forever to get an email. people its a SCAM.

  6. Gearbubble said they shipped my order I waited no package came then after waiting another 5 days my oder was delivered but someone took it. I have been trying to get ahold of someone even live chat is a joke. Gearbubbke can kiss my you know what. I’ll make sure they go out of business. I plan on bashing them on Fb. And anywhere else I can…..!!!!

    • I understand your frustration, it seems to be happening a lot lately people taking packages from people front door. I would also try again contacting them in a day, when you have cooled down a little an approach the situation with a calmer head then again try dealing with them, try the telephone number 888-552-5753 and live chat and see if it is better. If not please repost here again and let us know. There support is pretty shotty right now. Hope this helps Jim.

  7. I’m a former seller on gear bubble and he recently removed me from his Facebook group over some complete BS he was butthurt about. I tried honestly selling through his platform for several months and i didnt make a dime. Someone shared a post from my gear bubble facebook page complaining about not receiving items and wrong items and telling everyone not to buy at gear bubble, so when I posted a screenshot asking about how to deal with it in the group, he came back with some BS about how I can’t give out his location (The state of Kansas), to upset customers which was where I legitimately THOUGHT the company is located. I specifically told him that I tell everyone to email gear bubble directly but he saw my comment to that upset customer and because i gave the location of the state he’s in, which again i thought gear bubble was located, he claimed I was tarnishing his brand. Instead of being professional about it, he acted like a dick and removed me. Now I tell everyone to stay away and I have seen another website with numerous complaints. What a joke that business is.

    • Thanks for sharing your experience so other can read it and possibly help them determine if Gearbubble is right for them. I assume your taking about Donald Wilson, I don’t quite understand why he seems so protective of what state he lives in, that’s a bit weird. Did you have any problems contacting support? Or with any problems with orders(wrong items sent or wrong sizes?) Thanks.

      • What I did was try and sell through his platform and although it didn’t do well, I had no ill intentions towards him. He misunderstood me and through his mis-interpretation of my response to a random customer he lost any confidence I had in selling through him and I will never be associated with that brand again. I didn’t order anything as well, but I have read multiple complaints about orders and even bad comments on some posts from a couple different Facebook pages he created. I really don’t understand why people act the way they do especially when they have a brand they’re trying to grow.

        • It does seem rather puzzling why take the trouble to build a business then neglect what makes it a profitable business. But it happens all the time, I guess. Costumer service is a big one and as well as treating people like how you want to be treated. Thanks for sharing your experience Louis.

  8. I ordered a necklace and have not been able to get a response back.. Two e-mails today no response. I am thinking like many here, scam. Just a new way to rip people off.

    • I have had bad luck of contacting Gearbubble through email as of late, I would try their phone number or live chat. Their phone number is 888-552-5753. Hope this helps John. Let us know if the problem gets resolved as well.

      • Hi Dan, I have tried that phone number many times but it just says they are experiencing a backlog and just hangs up on you.. Did you ever try the number? And did you get to talk to a person?

        • I tried the telephone when I first reviewed Gearbubble, but not lately. To be honest it was awhile ago and I don’t remember if I talked to a person or not. I did chat with someone recently and she gave me a phone number to call if people are having problems. I told here about the alarming amount of complaints and that emails were not being addressed.
          Hope this helps.

          • Dan I filed a complaint with the BBB a week ago and they still have not responded to me. Now for the last week and a half even their “Live Chat” is gone. Legal has never responded to me at all. It’s been almost 8 weeks since they “suspended” my account and still haven’t told me why or what to do to fix it.

          • Thanks for the update Larry. It’s seems to be just steadily going downhill more and more. Now live chat is gone. probably all the negative comments, I’m sure. I hope this get resolved for you someday. Let me know if you have any updates. Thanks again.

  9. They are a scam. I called and a recording to me to e-mail them. But…they don’t answer e-mails. Stay away from these dirt bags. I just looked at their facebook page and there are many like me. Just a bunch of scum bags. Dan if have any respect for yourself will cut the cord with these thieves.

  10. I filed a complaint with the BBB, got an e-mail and refund within hours. They are a completely screwed up company. Stay far away from them!

    • Hey John, that seems like the best coarse of action to take and glad to hear you got a refund. Something has to be happening very wrong at Gearbubble, because I never get this many comments in this short amount of time. Thanks for leaving your comment as other might find it useful.

      • I ordered my wife a necklace that looked very nice on FB at what seemed like a reasonable price. When it arrived it looked like something out of a bubble gum machine. I’m going to return it but probably will never get my money back. This is the biggest scam I have seen in 30 years. Someone is getting rich ripping people off.

        • Hey Lyle, these just keep coming in, the complaints about Gearbubble that is. Hopefully you get your money back if you are not satisfied with the product. Thanks for sharing your situation.

  11. i also ordered from gearbubble on dec 1, 2016. sent email. they replied. told they would give it priotity. was expecting it for christmas as a present. I guess i learned a lesson. check the place out first before ordering. I also will file a complaint with the bbb.

    • They are definitely dropping the ball as a reliable business and I have downgraded their rating on my site. It’s always unfortunate for the consumer when this happens, you are not alone on having problems, and people should stay clear of them until or if they every get their act together. Once a reputation is ruined it is hard to get it back. Filing a complaint with the BBB is very responsible for a consumer and will help other people in the future and I applaud you for doing this.

      • Wonderful, glad your order arrived. It’s nice to hear something positive after all of Gearbubble shortcomings. Your welcome, glad to help.

  12. I only ordered 1 item for purchase. Total cost $37.90 including shipping. Have been charged $52.79 and still nothing has been delivered. Was hoping to receive well before Christmas, but alas, SCAMMED.

    • This is the second or third time I have heard of overcharging. I would try to chat and also call to try and get this resolved. Thanks for sharing your dealings with Gearbubble.

  13. Ordered and paid for 2 mugs on 9th December have not heard anything back from anyone hope the people who have taken half my weekly pension feel proud but what goes around comes around.

  14. I never received the mug my son ordered a month ago! “Fake” order number continues to say ” Order being processed”. There is no contact information. Of course, they have his $$$$. SCAM!!!!!

  15. Ordered a bracelet early in Dec 2016-still awaiting delivery despite numerous complaints to their website.
No doubt about it-a very dodgy company-I am now having to go to Pay Pal to get my money back. Beware they also advertise on Facebook

    • Yes, sellers at Gearbubble advertise via Facebook, and is one of the main ways sellers market their product. I hope you are going to have good luck going thru PayPal, as I have heard people overall get their money back. Sorry to hear about it, Gearbubble has REALLY DROP THE BALL as of late. Good luck on getting your money back and thanks for sharing your experience.

  16. I ordered a EMS Life mug for my daughter on 12/24/16 and I never received a conformation # to track my order or anything. My daughter is 16 and she was really excited about this mug because she is studying for her cna in high school. Only to be let down by not receiving the mug. I am very dissapointed that someone would do this to people. I believe it is a scam.

    • Sorry to hear of it, that is a real bummer! Thank you for sharing your experience, this company has let down a lot of people as of late.

      • Hi Dan, Glad I found your website. I wish I had found it before I invested so much money in them only to find out their dropship system doesn’t work.
I’ve sent my FINAL inquiry to their support and if they don’t resolve my issue by Tuesday, it’s off to PayPal I’ll go to submit a claim and dispute to get my money back. Thanks for your HONEST review of GearBubble. 🙂

        • Gearbubble is dropping the ball to most of their customers. That is good you paid through PayPal, as you will most likely get your money back. When in doubt pay through PayPal, is a good piece of advice. Good luck on getting your money back and glad you found my information useful.

  17. I’m tending to believe that GearBubble is not a scam but a company that got in way over it’s head over Christmas, but I may be wrong. My customers did eventually receive their mugs. I started to use their company in Nov. 2016 and have encountered many glitches. I believe they didn’t have enough help (I noticed frequently that the same people were helping me via email and live chat. And I also was frustrated when their live chat disappeared during the busy Christmas season and when I really needed to talk to them. I didn’t have a phone number and couldn’t find one.) Some of the problems: I only had 7 orders and out of those, two were stuck in the “Not picked up yet” phase via USPO. One was received anyway within an ok time but the other one took forever and gave me a negative mark on my late shipping status. Also, the shipping numbers were shown as invalid for the orders. The infamous missing mug was being replaced and then I noticed they were going to ship it to the wrong person who had ordered the same style of mug despite my verification that I had requested it for the person who had not received it on time. GearBubble corrected this (although denied it was being shipped to the wrong person but I had written proof of this) and she received it after Christmas, unfortunately. A local acquaintance had ordered one of my mugs and the top edge was not right and started to peel off; GB did replace it but the size was different. I blame the print company in Pennsylvania for the defect, not GearBubble. Because the mugs were ordered mainly by people in my community, I got to see most of them- one person received two and they were different- the writing was too small on one, not big across the mug like I had “designed”, the other accidental shipped one had larger writing but it was not pure white on black like the other had been, again, this is the printing companies fault, not GearBubble. Another mug that I saw with a wrap around design had the design start too close to the middle where a right-handed person would see this side when drinking out of the mug so this way disappointing. Again, the printing company issue. There are some great things about GearBubble that I really like and appreciate. They were very helpful at first but that changed during the Christmas season. There is not enough information on their site to appropriately describe the products like I want to do on my website- like what material is used with the t-shirts, necklace, etc. I started researching them and found this blog. I have been debating whether to give them another try or not. I checked out a local printer but profit would not be worth it unless I was selling them in huge quantities.

    • Nancy, thank you for sharing your experience as I believe you might be right, an overwhelming Christmas season and they could not handle it, along with the print company dropping the ball. This was so disappointing to a lot of people. Maybe, if they still have a business next Christmas and make the necessary improvement, things might change. But many improvement need to be in order or Gearbubble will die a slow death, as you can not disappoint customers at the level they did and not expect people to go elsewhere. Please let me know in the future if you do go back to them. Also have you tried Viralstyle or Teechip, or Teespring? They are similar to Gearbubble.

      • Dan, Thanks for your reply. No, I haven’t tried any other company like Teespring, etc. aside from Gearbubble. Using GM was a last minute business decision after I saw their webinar. Do you have any thoughts or reviews on the other similar companies?

        • They all are kind of plagued by the same things artwork being used by someone that is not supposed to use it. The biggest I believe is Viral Style and more refined of the bunch. I would recommend Viral Style over the other ones. But these sort of companies still have problems sometimes. I would read all the comments on my page of Viral Style and research it.Hope this will help you determine which one to choose.

    • Just a follow-up. I decided to not use GearBubble for even one more mug after this ordeal with so many mistakes, being mislead, them dropping off the planet during Christmas, and inconsistent print quality on the mugs. Frustrating for all the work I put into this mini-business but glad to at least find out fairly early, so glad I didn’t purchase their “Low-Hanging Fruit” program, or purchase a lot of mugs and other “gear” up front. I am about to launch my online store with another drop ship niche from a respectable business with decades of experience. Thanks so much Dan for providing this forum as it was actually a relief, in a way, to find this thread and realize that the GearBubble company is running a shoddy business as evidenced by other people using their services.

      • Nancy, Glad to help you make a decision and to find out more information and hopefully for your betterment. Gearbubble dropped the ball…hard.
Congrats on the new online store launching, sounds exciting. If you don’t mind me asking what company did you go with? Good luck with your new business!

  18. I ordered a necklace and pendant for my wife for Christmas. It didn’t get here when they said it would, but still got here before Christmas. I agree they most likely got overrun with orders and had trouble keeping up. For the most part, my experience with them from a customer perspective was a good one, and I’ll be ordering from them again.

  19. Yes GearBubble is a scam. Their order page promises delivery within a short period of time. For me 6 to 10 business days. Then the Emails start. Custom made product. Delay.

It shouldn’t take too long to make your gear. Sometimes it’s a few days, usually it’s just under a week or so, depending on the customization level. (max about 10 – 14 days)

Even though business days isn’t mentioned when the 14 days are up you get told if you ask about the delay business days. Any company that promises delivery on the order page then starts offering delay excuses shouldn’t be in business. When a person clicks SHIPPING INFO on the order page, the time stated there should be how long it takes. This includes all delays including their holiday delays, custom making and actual shipping. To state shipping time 6 to 10 business days then start with the time delay Emails is fraud. And a breach of digital contract.

The customer paid in good faith when making an order. The shipping info on the order page stated when it would be delivered. Any other delays id on GearBubble and is their responsibility to inform the customer about at that time. Emails after paying for an order looking for extra time is dishonest.

    • Yes, you think it wouldn’t be hard to change the shipping days if orders are taking longer than expected instead of misleading people. I agree with you, they need to be upfront with customers. I think people would be generally accepting if they would just update and tell the truth.

      • I filed a complaint with the FBI Cyber Crimes Unit I left the link up above. I gave them as much detail as I could when filing the report. Even thought the C3 doesn’t have any place to upload evidence, I told them I have screen shots to prove my claims and the Emails I could forward to help my case.

After reading some of the comments here, I suspect their next scam will be getting a shipping label, issuing me the tracking number and “forgetting” to mail it. If that happens I might have to contact the USPS and see what the law is on misusing a tracking number for fraudulent purposes. See if GB thinks federal charges for mail fraud is funny.

I tried playing nice with GB but now I just want to hurt them badly. All they had to do was give me a real time on shipping. Even if they told me 4 to 5 weeks up front when I clicked the link SHIPPING INFO I could have decided then if I wanted to wait. But taking my money and playing delay games with the Emails and ignoring me when I tried to get straight answers from them, now I’m mad and GB will find out what poking a bear gets you.

    • I also noticed the change in shipping time after I had ordered the mugs. Also, when I was inquiring about a missing mug, they informed me that because I was having the mug drop shipped, that I should order it in another way and the cost would be $1.00 more per mug and the shipping time would be up to 3 weeks! So those who are drop shipping have a longer wait than one-time order customers. This does not seem like a good way to treat those who are using them for business purposes and would have more orders than a customer who only occasionally will order from them.

      • I have had the problem with shipping. I ordered a mug. USPS says IF it was shipped the label was not put where it could be scanned. I’m doubting it’s been shipped at this point.

  20. The customer support is useless. Followed up on orders pending since Jan, only received template language response. Their front campaign site states “You will receive your order within 5-8 business days.” This is not the case at all. Do not recommend this company at all.

  21. I ordered a gearbubble necklace for my wife Christmas present, It took 5 weeks to get it and it was the wrong necklace. they sent me one for a daughter. I DO NOT HAVE A Daughter. I tried contacting them by emails(several) and by phone. NO RESPONSE FROM THEM WHATSOEVER. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM FROM THE GIT GO.

    • Sorry to hear that John. Unreliable service with support completely gone to deal with the unreliable service. People would be wise to avoid until things change if ever.

  22. Dang, I just wrote a long post and the captcha ate it.

Thanks for the great article and people’s experiences. I was about to give GB a try when I found this and a couple other sites where people have similar bad experiences with GB.

Now, in February 2017, they’re launching a new merchandising system “low hanging system” with GB at its core. They’ll sell you the program and tutorials for “only” $397. If the core service is so bad, I’ll pass on the program, too and consider it Bullet Dodged.

Did you find a dropship provider that is reliable and reasonably priced?

    • Been there Sammy, that sucks!
Glad you could get some insight into Gearbubble and possibly prevent you from the hassle. Because as of late it’s gone down hill.
I didn’t know this low hanging system thanks for the information.
I did a review on several other companies. Viralstyle, Teespring, and Teechip. I like Viralstyle, but the others are okay.

  23. hello
    13 days and no anser
anser my ticket please or my email
    ticket number (89691
you close my account and i lose all my money in facebook ads

    • I am not part of Gearbubble. This is a separate website and this is just a review of Gearbubble. I am sorry otherwise to hear of your problem, many people are facing the same situation. Hang in there, sometimes it gets resolved with time.

  24. i sent for a neckless for my husband for valentines day an have not yet received it iam very upset about this i was told i would have it in plenty of time i ordered it on the 4th of feb so i would have it for him an now i have to go try find something else plus i have paid for this to feel really cheated an not happy at all about it u shouldnt sell things u cant supply just not right

    • Sorry Joann, this seems to be the case with Gearbubble as of late. I totally agree with you about them not fulfilling their business end of the deal. Unacceptable.

  25. Very disappointed with the product I bought from Gearbubble. I bought Brazilian roots-special edition (gold) Necklace Brazil / U.S. and they sent me Brazil / Canada. Not professional and not respect with the consumer.

    • Wow, talk about getting it wrong. Sorry to hear that Frances, but thanks for sharing your experience as it might help someone avoid the same problem.

  26. i work with this scam company and i get 20 sell and after that they close my account and 60 days no anser from theme
    dont trust this scam company
they take your money and close your account

  27. I was a seller at Gearbubble +200 order on first week… they suspended my account for no reason. I have sent number of emails but they did not respond. Yet they are selling my campaigns and are making profit. They continue to sell my stuff everyday as though it is a regular seller, except they are not paying me my profit. They suspend account without any reason, they did not respond and take profit of sellers with them. Please beware…

    • Thanks you, for sharing your experience Jason. I heard this from other people as well about them suspending their account but continuing to sell the products from the people they suspended. This will help people become aware, what is happening at Gearbubble.

  28. I’m reading all these commemts and pro lems with so many people, and I ask myself, why you people waste your time on Gearbubble, when there are tons of reputable companies in U.S. and even outside the U.S.

The world is open for business and it’s time to ditch all incompetent owners and their so called “companies”. I will say to the owner of such company to quit and go to find a regular job, because it’s a F@CKING SHAME!

This guy, Donald Wilson, should be kicked out of the bussines ASAP! You guys just have to move to another company and “fire” him! This is the way to keep the business niche safe and clean of assholes!

I was considering to join Gearbubble, but all the bad comments just lost my intetest with it.

    • Qwerty, I agree with you. I just did a new review on a really good company Redbubble, check it out here, What Is Redbubble?, they got their stuff together and treat their artists great. I wouldn’t go near Gearbubble for a long time, even though they have been emailing me about new training which is about increasing your sales for a “cheap price”. Which if the company had a solid foundation would seem like a good venture, but not with their recent history, I am not even slightly interested.
Glad I could help you potentially save yourself some future headaches. Thanks for the comment.

  29. You forgot to mention (or at least this is the situation as of this post) – that once you launch a campaign – you CAN NOT EVER EVER delete it, change it or do anything else!! So if you notice a error in your graphic — you can’t go in and swap out the image; add a new color option on the T-shirt. You have to friggin start over! You also can’t reuse a URL – they claim it’s for legal reasons. I all BS and bad programmers nerds at work behind the scenes! And those are just of a few of the WTF issues I’ve found in the past 2 weeks. So sad.

    • I was unaware of this flaw in there system, but thanks for sharing your experience. Seems like kind of a big flaw too, as they need to update the program to make it more useable. More problems just keep pouring in over at Gearbubble. Yikes!
      Thanks JP for the update.

    • I also had that problem- wanted to readjust the placement of a design and could not do it. Extremely frustrating. I keep getting emails from them about more GearBubble products, etc. Also, I just noticed today that one of my mug’s writing has come off after only being used a few times and put on the top rack of my dishwasher. So glad I decided to forget about them after my awful experience and reading all of these complaints.

  30. Ordered from them got what we ordered but was not pleased with it. Tried to talk to them on there chat line what a crock. Every time you asked then a question they twisted it. Never did get and answer. Sent back what we got and never did get a reply or a refund. I am just thankful it was not a lot of money like the other woman. Will do everything I can to make sure people no the truth about GEARBUBBLE.

    • I have experienced the lack of support myself personally and totally can sympathise with you. They put it back on you somehow. Thanks for sharing your experience.
I did a review on a similar company, but I order stuff from them and their products are great. A good company. What Is Redbubble?

  31. WOW WOW WOW. I was a little excited after learning about GB from an ad on Fbook and was looking forward to creating an account and get busy selling. So glad I found this blog, and thank you Dan for the time you spend running it. I will NOT be using GB and will inform others not to use them as well.

    • Gearbubble at one time was decent, not the case lately and I would avoid until they restructure or clean house. If your looking for a good site I would suggest Redbubble. Very artist friendly and they ship their products fast. You can read my article here, What Is Redbubble? Can You Make Money With Redbubble?.
Your welcome, glad to help. Don’t get thanked that much, so it’s nice to hear after the day I’ve had.

  32. 1000% scam , i am a t-shirt designer and seller i started working with gearbubble in about 2 months ago . i used facebook ads to sell my designs uplaoded in gearbubble platform ! and sold about 50 article . and i asked to get a payout with my profits . they dealy me about 15 day and i keep msg them in support they transfered many to ather support team seller@gearbubble and legal@ but when it’s too late they told me that i cant get my profits because all that 50 orders are unauthorized orders ! and i can’t got my profits ! also i used to pay there integration with amazon and ebay they are full or problems and i can’t work with it coz it wont go ! and in the second month they take money from my credit card for the second month without sending me an invoice for payment and when i asked for refound my money they told me we don’t refound ! for any one want to be sure of all what i said i have screenshots !

SO BE WARE of working and buying from them !

    • more than that my page fans who bought my designs already sent me selfies and most of them not satisfied with the quality . but when keep msg gearbubble for my profits the remove the 2 articles that get all the 50 sells from my dashboard and they keep it active . like this i make sure they are scammers

      • Another notch in the walking stick for Gearbubble being a scam! Thank you for help getting the word out about Gearbubble. People will find this and hopefully avoid this.
I have done another review on Redbubble a totally different company that support their artist and have very good quality of items. You can join Redbubble here. I love their products and support.

  33. thank you so much i will try it . actually i am working with sunfrog / viralstyle / teespring / teezily and they are going very good for me i will check redbubble if they have more products . thank you

  34. I wonder if they have changed things around? I recently started using GearBubble and I’ve had some success on eBay. They shipped out the orders and even responded to my email about a question I had on shipping.

    • I too wonder this as I have received email pertaining to new features Gearbubble is offering, like training. They are making an effort on some fronts of their business. This is far as I know and why I really appreciate commenters adding their experience here.
Hopefully Gearbubble can turn things around.

  35. I tried gearbubble for four months, made two sales. Both were holiday mugs with 15 days from delivery due date; neither one was shipped by gearbubble and even though I notified them, I received no response.
I think they spend too much time promoting Rachel’s low hanging system than caring about clients.
    Cancelled my account today.

  36. GearBubble’s Customer Service is non-existent. If you place an order and receive it, you should go out and buy a lottery ticket because you are very lucky. If you receive a defective product, forget it. There is no response to email or CHAT. I found this site trying to find a telephone number or address. I am not that inexperienced with online shopping and should have known better, I guess, but their charges are so high that I can’t just let this go.

    • We all get burnt at one time or another. Gearbubble has burnt a lot of people as of late but will eventually burn themselves if the continue to have poor customer service. As customers will go elsewhere, to better manage print-on-demand t-shirt companies and there are many with good customer service. Thanks for sharing, hope you get resolution with your problem.

  37. I ordered a mug from Gearbubble then started reading the reviews on this page and others. About made me sick thinking I was going to get scammed but they send my several emails and a tracking number and 2 weeks later I have my mug and it looks good. I cropped and uploaded a picture of my girlfriends cat. They put it on the mug. It came out a little darker than the original picture but I’m satisfied. Believe me if they messed me around would be on here writing much different story. Just checked my cc bill and they didn’t overcharge me either. Guess I’m one of the lucky ones.

    • Gearbubble performance is spotty, just from me reading comments posted on my website. I’ve heard both good and bad. Hard to have establish trust with customers with sporadic performance.
Gearbubble has started a new program for sellers recently, as they are actually working on something on their site (which is a positive sign), investing in themselves. But should be concentrating on working out all of the kinks to their customers first.
Thanks for sharing your positive experience.

  38. They are the worst company! I signed up to be a seller and have the items I created sold on amazon but after two weeks I am still unable to list anything. They charged me $95 for this service and the customer service rep is illiterate and can’t communicate clearly. She never answers my questions and it takes 24 hours for her to respond. I want a refund but she blames Amazon and won’t help me. Run, Run, RUN!

    • Gearbubble is loaded with problems for sure, but thanks for sharing your experience and this might help future sellers to stay away from this problematic company. Keep trying you might get your money back eventually.

    • Same happened to me with Esty found out they would only sell mugs after I signed up. Was never told before. They I was told that they don’t do refunds on their programs. I agree they are a scam!

  39. Been with Gearbubble for over a year and had problems for the last 6 months. Opened account through them for Esty after paying was told we could only sell Mugs (wasted $50.00) as they would not refund. Same week placed order for 14 tee shirts they arrived and the printing was wrong. They requested photo proof so I sent it and was told they would reprint them the right way. They never did and I had to fight for a refund or replacement for over two month. Which at this point I have not received. I had to post in the FB gearbubble group to get someone’s attention and Mr. Wilson responded with a text that I could not reply to telling me I was unreasonable and told me he does not want me as a seller or customer then deleted me from the group. Went to respond to him and he blocked me. Had to open a BBB complaint. Do not do business with this company and if you have a problem they will your done! Sorry I had to leave this, but if I treated my customers like this I would not be in business.

    • Sorry for your experience but as you know this isn’t that uncommon with Gearbubble. They need to focus on multiple issues, like customer service, quality products, and sellers, to name the obvious ones. Still a shady company and buyers and sellers beware.

  40. Hi, I’ve been selling with GB since early 2017. They are not a scam but they are very understaffed and it absolutely shows at Christmas. Unfortunately it is so slow that dec 2017 and dec 2018 I actually closed all my listings around Dec 1 because I couldn’t comfortably promise customers Christmas delivery. However, I have shopped around for other drop ship print on demand places and found basically all others to be equally slow and more expensive. Also other user interfaces aren’t as friendly as GB- I actually find their design UI tremendously easy to use, and they have nice mockups provided. So I’m taking the good with the bad, but being insanely slow in December is super duper bad.

    • Very useful information that you shared Becky for any sellers on Gearbubble and possibly any buyers at Gearbubble around Christmas time. Thanks for sharing your experience.

  41. ordered a mug for a birthday present. A week later still no mug and it was stuck at a DHL distribution site. Complaints were answered with generic useless info. Finally an update and the mug will be here after 2 weeks from being shipped. The company where I ordered this product from is 2 states away. DHL is by far the most incompetent company I have ever seen. I will not use Gear bubble again as they did nothing to remedy this matter except send email stating sorry but here is your tracking info, in 2 of these updates they were for another person. Useless customer service and even worse shipping company.

    • Problems from Gearbubble again, this company has many problems from years ago till now. Thanks for sharing your experience.
