If you could identify the one thing (okay, or multiple things) responsible for your blog’s success, what would that be?
Personal drive and proper SEO tactics. So many things contribute to success, but you must first have the will to succeed. Another important aspect is to have a goal. Aim for it and achieve it. Then set a new goal.
What advice would you give to someone looking to start a blog?
To make sure they understand it takes a lot of time to get going with starting a blog. Do not expect instant results. It takes six months minimum to start seeing results, and possibly up to two years. It takes time, with a lot of ups and downs along the way. I am only a year deep into this blog.
Is there a useful tool or resource you’ve used that you’d recommend to other bloggers? Maybe something other bloggers might not know about?
Hands down, it would have to be where I learned and continue to learn affiliate marketing at Wealthy Affiliate. You can read my review on my review here Wealthy Affiliate Review 2016, Legit Money Maker to find out more. Step by step, it walks you through creating a website, specific to your particular interests and needs. It doesn’t matter if you’re an experienced blogger or a complete newbie (I consider myself a newbie, still.). Everything is covered, and a lot of thought and work is put into the site to make sure it successfully teaches you affiliate marketing. It is my number one recommended way to make money online, by working for yourself. If I had to learn affiliate marketing on my own, I would be totally lost. I attribute all of my accomplishments to them. It’s like having a personal mentor, helping you along the way. There is always something new to learn.

Tell us about the most exhilarating moment you’ve experienced as a blogger.
Being ranked page one, position one in Google for a specific keyword. Much fist pumping, whooping, self-high fives, and patting myself on the back for sure took place.
Which major blogger or influencer do you most admire and why?
I don’t follow any bloggers, but I should and want to. I have a folder full of bookmarked websites called “blogs I need to learn from.” Currently, I just don’t have the time. I’m too busy creating content, learning, or attending to my websites. There are so many great writers out there. At Dealspotr I admire Influencer NewAgeMama. Amazing work ethic!
What’s been your most successful blog post, and what do you think made it most successful?
As long as I can help someone, through the use of my content, it has been successful.
Have you ever experienced a moment when you wanted to quit blogging? How did you overcome it?
You’re not a blogger if you don’t go through the stage of wanting to quit, ESPECIALLY in the beginning! You feel a lot of negative emotions because you’re doing all this work, with no immediate results. Results come with time–and constant work. Believe in yourself and push through this. It helps to have people who motivate you. Luckily, the place I learned how to create a website has a wonderful community. They help and motivate me to keep me progressing.
(and now some fun ones!)
Overall, the entire journey has been fun and exciting. I have pushed through personal barriers that I thought I would never cross, and this has allowed me to grow personally as well. An unexpected result, indeed. It is definitely the journey, not the end of the journey, that is the most rewarding.
What’s your favorite TV show?
Warning, nerrrrrd alerrrrrt! Right now, I am enjoying watching Star Trek Enterprise, on Amazon Video.
What’s your favorite snack?
I have yet to meet a burrito I didn’t love.
If you could have dinner with anyone, living or dead, who would it be?
Anyone? Well, well, well…I would have to pick the people or person who designed the great pyramid of Giza. I would love to know all the real purpose(s) and details of building it. Not just the theories. I find it very fascinating, as well as the beauty of it. Maybe the time for dinner wouldn’t be enough time to share all the details. I love watching documentaries on Egypt and pyramids. Truly a wonder of this world, and I hope to visit and go inside the pyramid one day.
Anything else you’d like to add?
Do what you love doing. Be positive, and surround yourself with positive things, family, friends, music, podcasts, and thoughts.
